Apart from his professional ventures, John prides himself on actively helping the community. John is a certified Veterans Affairs Attorney and holds licenses in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Tennessee. He is a sponsor of the National Alliance on Mental Illness Walkathon, one of the country’s top mental health walk series. He is also the Director of the Charles Coody Classic Gold Tournament benefiting Catholic Charities of Fort Worth, TX.

Another thing that sets John apart is his unique upbringing. Both his parents were small business owners. Having owned and operated several businesses, including a historic inn, John's entrepreneurial background affords him a hands-on understanding of the legal and practical issues facing his clients and their estate planning needs.
